We use heavyweight cotton duck canvas to provide the highest quality canvas that is tightly woven and double filled. Our canvases are triple primed to give 15.5oz of weight, far higher quality than mass-produced canvases you would find in box stores.
At Boise Canvas our frames are all handmade with careful attention to the quality and effect on the artist's experience. We use only beveled wood to prevent tearing, "ghosting", roughness, and general poor quality frames that are so common with cheap canvases.
Our goal is to suit all your needs and desires. We will build to serve your needs. If you want your custom size canvas to be deeper, sturdier, splined, and made from a specific wood we can make it happen. Our handmade canvases are made specifically for you with your budget in mind.
